Stairway To Heaven Photographed At Fatal Car Crash?

Profile Status

A woman driving past a fatal car crash in Georgia last month captured an eerie photo of what some have dubbed a ‘stairway to heaven.’

Anisa Gannon snapped the spooky photo so that her boss would know why she was late for work that day and, at the time, had no idea about the severity of the crash.

It was only later that she both noticed the remarkable anomaly in the image and also learned that three unfortunate individuals had died in the accident.

Gannon subsequently shared the photo with the crash victims’ families, who expressed profound appreciation for what they perceived to be an uplifting message from their departed loved ones.

While skeptics will no doubt attribute the ‘stairway’ to a trick of light and shadow, their textbook explanation does not lessen the comfort, that the photo brought to the people who lost their loved ones in the crash.

Sad, but unfortunately this is just a refraction of the sun on the camera lens. A common ocurrence.

Simple photon scattering, you see it in patches of clouds and such, particles caught in a Brownian motion show it better. I think it’s called the Reighleigh effect? If I’m wrong educate me.
